Given the passion residents and visitors alike feel for the Mahoosucs, this is a pretty common question! We offer a number of ways for Mahoosuc supporters and interested citizens to learn more and get involved:

Join a Local Conversation:
We are holding regular meetings of our Advisory Board and other groups of local supporters. Contact us [link to Contact Us page] to join our Advisory Board or to get involved in these local "kitchen table" conversations.

Come to a Community Forum:
We will be holding community forums throughout the summer to release our Mahoosuc Report and to help communities use it for community visioning and identification of future opportunities. Contact us [link to Contact Us page] for dates and locations.

Write a Letter:
We are working with groups like the Trust for Public Land to help advance land conservation and sustainable forestry projects in the Mahoosuc region. Contact us [link Contact Us page] if you want to write a letter of support to a public official, or maybe even a letter to the editor of your local paper.

Start a Local Working Group:
The Mahoosuc Initiative is designed for community empowerment. If you see a need or opportunity in your town, contact us [link to Contact Us page] to help you identify other partners and get a local working group started to make things happen!
